Dr. Anam Masood

Dr. Anam Masood is a dedicated ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, currently serving as a consultant at ASG Eye Hospital, Kanpur. A graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, she holds an MS in Ophthalmology and has completed a prestigious fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus from Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital and Research Centre, Lucknow. With a strong foundation in both academic and clinical ophthalmology, Dr. Masood combines evidence-based practice with a compassionate approach to pediatric and adult eye care.
Her clinical expertise spans over 1,000 cataract surgeries, numerous pediatric cataract and strabismus procedures, and active participation in specialty clinics for glaucoma, retina, and cornea. She has several PubMed-indexed publications in leading ophthalmology journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing eye care research. As a lifetime member of major professional bodies including AIOS and SPOSI, Dr. Masood remains actively engaged in national conferences and CME programs, contributing to the continued growth and education of the medical community.
