A native of Lucknow, he completed his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh—one of India’s premier medical institutions. He further pursued a Post-Doctoral Residency in Pediatric Gastroenterology at SGPGI, Lucknow, the first institute in India to offer certified training in this subspecialty.
Since 2008, Dr. Bhatnagar has been serving as Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Eras Lucknow Medical College and Hospital and Vivekananda Polyclinic. He is also the founder of Sparsh Child Care and Gastro Centre in Rajajipuram, Lucknow—the only private hospital in Uttar Pradesh exclusively dedicated to pediatric gastroenterology. His clinical expertise spans the management of chronic diarrhea, constipation, liver failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and nutritional disorders in infants and children.
